Description: British Staffordshire Since You Are Not Certain Of An Hour Child's Plate Antique British pearlware child's plate with embossed flower border with hand colored highlights to the center of the flowers in pink, yellow, and green. Decorated with a transfer pattern with flowers and books and the saying "Since you are not certain of an hour, throw not away a minute." With hand colored highlights in pink, yellow, and green. Unmarked. Circa 1830 to 1840s. Has a glazed over in manufacture chip to the edge, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. KV
