The badge has a Victorian crown over a strap inscribed "King's Regiment", with the White Horse of Hanover standing over the numeral "8" in the center. The horse is in white metal, the remainder in brass. This badge is around 140 years old, in good condition, with beautiful patina, and very scarce. Loop fittings on the back are intact. 4.3 X 7.3 cm.
