Description: British Black Bat Print House & Church Ruins Transferware Waste Bowl Circa 1810-1820 Antique British pearlware waste / slop bowl. Decorated on one side with a black bat print transfer of a house with sheep, and two figures on the road leading tot he house and with a scene of a ruined abbey or church with two figures and swans on the other side. Black trim along the edge. Unmarked. Circa 1810 to 1820. Has wear and scratches to the transfer, some staining, two chips and a bruise to the foot rim, small chips and discoloration along the rim, and a chip to the side of the bowl at the edge of the transfer decal with the church/abbey. Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches wide x 3 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. JV
