Description: Admiral of the Fleet John Rushworth Jellicoe, 1st Earl Jellicoe [1859 1935] was a Royal Navy officer who began his military career in 1872 and served in the Anglo-Egyptian War, the Boxer and the First World War. Jellicoe is well remembered for defeating German Fleet while commanding the Grand Fleet at the Battle of Jutland in May of 1916. Admiral Jellicoe later served as Fiest Sea Lord and as the Governor-General of New Zealand during the 1920's. Listed for auction is the autograph of Admiral John Jellicoe signed on a card. The autograph is signed ''Jellicoe'' in black fountain pen and the card measures 3.25 x 2.50 inches, it has trivial toning otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic, uncommon to obtain and is a desirable example of this noted British Admiral and is ideal for display.
