Description: Description This is a wonderful SET OF 4, original animation cel drawings featuring a fantastic image of Fir Darrig, Oisin, Puck and Kobold from the popular CBS TV Special "Faeries" by Brian Froud. The piece was produced in the 1980's for the half-hour special which aired on CBS in 1981. The Animated TV special is based on a series of popular fantasy books that have their basis in Irish folklore. A young hunter Oisin is returning with his family from an unsuccessful hunt. He notices a fawn and strays away from his group. The fawn turns out to be a beautiful fairy, Princess Niamh, who asks him for help. The piece is from the scene where Fir Darrig is serving pie to Oisin, Puck and Kobold in his parlor. You get 4 drawings, one of each of the characters from this scene. The scene has the 3 characters in the lower left of the paper and Fir Darrig on the right side. There is some production wear with very light staining or dirt in spots. The Oisin drawing has a torn bottom left peg hole and a stain in the corner.
