Description: A basic service kit for Breville BES860 and BES870 Barista Express coffee machines. These machines really don’t need anywhere near as much as the 9 Series Dual Boiler machines, which makes them great for small homes and easy to maintain. If you look after them right, they’ll be a workhorse for years to come. Some tips for keeping your Barista Express in good condition: Always remember to backflush with water when you’re done making coffee each session, and backflush with a product like Cafetto or the Breville cleaning tablets once a week. Always use a water filter in your tank and replace it every 3 months. Descale your machine every 6 months or so, it only takes about 5-10mins (remove the filter from your tank before adding descale solution to it). Clean the grinder burrs out with a nylon brush and use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the loose grounds every week or so.
