The front tri spoke is the latest in aerodynamics for roadbikes, at first glance it may look odd but upon riding there is little to no drag even against tail winds. The benefits of a closed disc wheel and front trispoke are a straight line and comfortable train. With lesser resistance owning such a bike will constantly test your limits as everyday is met with new conditions, wind, heat, cold, humidity, doldrums etc. It is difficult to go back to a cheaper mass produced roadbike. We decided to go with SenSah Empire groupset, primarily to bring the overall cost down for interested buyers. We know it's China parts but it does have Japanese components, which add to our Japanese carbon fiber. Some of the engineers of SenSah used to work for Shimano so there are some upsides to SenSah. Aside from some minor comfort issues with the Sensah groupset, there are individuals who have crossed the 1500 miles barrier with this cheaper groupset without any issues which is very impressive, check out SenSah Empire reviews from honest youtubers. Regardless, If you would like to upgrade to Shimano 105 R7000 or Shimano Ultegra R8000 please let us know and we can negotiate. We also offer customized paint for free which will add more time to the delivery schedule, otherwise all our bikes are matte black. * Please note that additional paint adds around 200g.
