Black Sabbath - self titled debut NEW sealed Rhino High Fidelity LTD 5K 2024

Description: You are buying a new/sealed Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath. A 2024 Rhino High Fidelity reissue limited to 5,000. Mastered all analog by Kevin Gray from the original US master tapes (Wicked World replaces the Evil Woman cover). These are 180 gram black vinyl records pressed at Optimal Media (Germany) and placed in poly lined sleeves. The jacket is a thick/glossy tip-on gatefold with obi and 4 page insert. Heavy weight indeed as this one's fighting weight came in at 1 pound 3.5 ounces. Not to mention the high fidelity is present as these are basically rock versions of Blue Note's Tone Poets series. Reviews are positive with many finding this version comparable to an original 1970 UK Vertigo swirl (don't shoot the messenger). This listing is numbered somewhere in the 3,000 neighborhood and looks to be in near mint with a couple dinged corners. FYI: be careful with sellers who don't specify edge condition as Rhino's shipping practices are mediocre and widely panned for dings/seam splits. Item will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve to help prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Considering the high price this goes for I will make extra sure it is packaged securely and you may have to sign for delivery (this prevents porch theft and dropped/stepped on packages).
