What this is: This Bible is the 1611 King James Bible down to every Jot and Tittle, in PDF format, ready for study and / or publishing. Entire project is done using the Arial font because it is a "Block" font, and 14 point in size for easier reading. See: "Note about fonts" in the Copyright section. Why King James? It is the reference standard / benchmark version of the Bible for reading, teaching, preaching & sharing, and the basis for all other Bibles. Also, the only version of the Bible never to be * copyrighted; therefore it can be reprinted freely to benefit all for study. -------------------------------------------------- * Copyright and Fonts: Copyright: The Crown of England holds the King James Bible in, “eternal copyright”. The crown has a, “perpetual copyright” on the 1611 King James Bible through, "letters patent", originally issued to stop unofficial editions and then to protect the country from ranters, shakers, Quakers, popery, nonconformity, and any other forms of misuse. This “copyright” applies to the United Kingdom. This rendition of the Bible I have created, is NOT copyrighted other than the "Eternal copyright" held by the Crown of England. I refuse to impose any copyright because I did not change the writing, grammar, punctuation, or context, only its appearance. Note about fonts used in this project: Fonts are embedded in the DOCs & PDFs and are licensed under your Windows or Mac license. For Linux, the Arial font would have to be downloaded, (if not already). Most Linux systems load the "mscorefonts" when installing Microsoft software anyway, so that and all the other fonts we use every day are inadvertently installed, and we, for the most part, do not even know it. For the PDFs, Arial and other fonts in the Adobe Fonts library are licensed for commercial use, but also, these PDFs were created from Microsoft Word Docs, so the fonts are "Grandfathered" in. Fonts included with your operating system are free to use on any personal or commercial project. Your usage license is effectively included within the ownership of a Microsoft or Adobe product. What you cannot do is distribute the font to people who do not have a Microsoft or Adobe subscription. The purchased software on your computer, tablet, or other device is legally considered your, "Subscription" but more so as additional subscription deals you make with those companies. You, in the future can purchase other more exclusive licensing (Subscriptions) from those companies if necessary. Please do your homework in dealing with the way you choose to offer this according to your own clientele and licensing needs. I personally check these things when dealing with commercial applications. All is well, never had a complaint. -------------------------------------------------- The Project: This collection of the Bible in all its books can be used for Theological study, college curriculum's, personal studies, Sunday school teachings, printed to give out to people being discipled, and / or reprinted, and / or sold around the world as a Bible or biblical study reference in PDF format. (DOC & DOCX formats are included) Any Christians who have the wherewithal to purchase this project, may just do so to get the Word of God out into the world. Others might purchase as an investment to reprint. Christian publishers would stand to make a handsome profit from this project, especially if it is purchased by churches, organizations, and individuals around the world. I have also considered Amazon Kindle, as they use the PDF format, and that might become a major source of commerce, especially if sales are geared towards the visually impaired and / or elderly who own laptops, Nooks, or tablets. The potential of this project is unlimited. -------------------------------------------------- Why $100,000? (A perspective) Because of the time, the hundreds of hours that went into this project, effort, equity, the sacrifice invested, (Accountability for my time), and the future profits that can be made by a publisher. The Lost Years: (Personal account) Because of a story that takes days to tell, namely ~ severe health problems, I went ten years with no income. As impossible as that seems, yes, ten years. My career in tech was basically over. My goal now is to finish recovering and get back to work. As an I.T. technical services and network engineer, business developer, specializing in prototype development and emerging technologies, etc... That commands a minimum salary average of $100,000+ per year, times the lost ten years with no income = $1 million dollars, (assuming no raises accrued). This is what I have missed because of being sick and unhealthy. That does not include the additional five years I have been on SSI, (Which is shameful). $100,000 is a drop in the bucket when considering all that is lost, but it is also a life changing shot in the arm to get back on track, clean the slate, and get back to moving the Kingdom of God forward. My Personal Experience Driving Me to this Project: I have survived severe poisoning and spent the past 14 years in recovery. It has taken a toll that most people could not begin to understand. My life is completely changed, but sometimes that is how God works. Mine is not to question why, but to obey. It has been a mind bending process to survive and recover, battling an advanced form of arthritis, the multiple nightmare effects of Severe Toxic Black Mold Poisoning, Chronic lung disease, and diabetes, just to name a few. Yes, disability is horrible. However, I never took my eyes off God. As far as being sick, my father asked me to move in with him so I could recover, and said he would take care of everything while I was there. It did not go so well. He too had serious health issues, and was diagnosed with cancer in August 2023. He passed away in April 2024 with no inheritance or insurance of any kind. (We thought he had insurance). As the only family member that lived with him, all fingers point to me, and I have experienced absolute financial devastation because of his passing. Ironically, (Or by God's Grace), with the help of some Christian friends, I am starting a new nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to support Missionaries around the world. I will be hiring a small staff, President, VP, etc... I will stand as the Director of Operations, until the ministry is well under way and / or I am forced into retirement, in which case I will hand it off to a younger person. (This has always been the plan). The main purpose is to support the communications between Missionaries around the world, but there is also travel, financing, medical, publishing gospel tracts, and a few other ideas in the works. This $100,000 will not only get it started, but also provide an avenue to pay fundraisers, and a modest salary to put me back on track, and help me to fulfill my dream of this new ministry. The Process: (The Bible) I acquired this Bible in 2010 and began working on it in 2014. I have worked on for ten years, (five years in fellowship, reading, designing, discussion, and five years in edit). It has taken five years to edit, as I could only work on it in my spare time with serious disabilities haunting me. It has taken over a month just to write this description for this sale. The complete Typesetting, Re-Formatting, and time that went into the arrangement of this project costs me more than most could realize. It also merits a certain level of intellectual effort. I want to pass that idea onto the buyer / publisher. I would like to make this my full time work, creating new versions, making it easier for the elderly and vision impaired, along side the new missionary support ministry. Criticism: (From others) Even though the number of hours alone in this project merit a serious paycheck, I have faced criticism for my efforts at every turn in my life. How do you pay your bills, buy a car or a house, or travel anywhere without accountability for your time, and having the money to do so? This has been a problem in the past of people telling me I should do everything for free. My reply is, "Then how does one pay their bills?" and they get a snotty look on their face because I burst their bubble. ...and yes, I stopped hanging around those people. Some people appear comfortable in their own lives, but content criticizing others. People need to be paid for the work they are doing, unless they specifically announce they are doing charitable work. It is my intention to do more charitable work after I have sold this project. Big Money Maker $$$: I mentioned commercial printing before, which could yield a nice income for a ministry to pay off the $100,000 investment, but also consider this: Any buyer of this project; individual, church, organization or investor, can take the PDFs and upload them to a webpage which has a subscription service, and be used interactively by the subscribers. The public can buy them one at a time or as a whole package, or subscribers to your webpage can view them online. In the realm of teaching, the interactive webpage could be configured to save the notes a subscriber makes on their Proverbs Study page, and so on. The possibilities are endless. The bottom line for $100,000: My intention was to sell each book on their own for a price repeatedly, just as I had described earlier, knowing it would spawn a whole new era in Bible materials for easier study. Which of course could yield hundreds of thousands of dollars, but my health problems and desire to launch a new nonprofit changed my priorities to a condition of, "Expedience". Some are a yellow background with blue lettering text, and the name of each book and corresponding information. There are over 300 image files in total. A PNG image file showing part of the process for creating this project is included. It's called, "Bible_PDF_Project__Process_Archive_01.png" / also a JPG file showing the final font choice called, "BIBLE_RE-TEXT_PROJECT__FONT_SIZES_PS_1.png" There are also PNG images showing examples of groups of books. ------------------- * Bible Topic Groupings are arranged according to various website's whose information I gathered. History, Wisdom, etc... Can be re-arranged, by the buyer, according to how the buyer would like them to be arranged. The arrangement of book topic groups in this project was a culmination of the most common groups found. In addition, individual books such as Proverbs, Acts, and Revelation with the note, "The book of ??? by itself.", are just copies of the books found in the whole Bible directory, but referenced more often than other books....And yes, I am well aware I could have added more books like Psalms, Isaiah, etc... I just wanted to add a few quick shots you can reference quickly as an example. -------------------------------------------------- Configuration Note: The entire bible, with all books and sets, was created in PDF, because PDF is the most stable document type for transporting over Internet emails, and networks for commercial printing. Page count: 1938 The PDF folders contain the Bible and the Group sets. However, I am including the original DOCs used in creating this project. The original DOCs & DOCXs are just the 66 original books by themselves. I am including the original documents as part of the whole package. -------------------------------------------------- Document Size & Printing Configuration Notes: Document size: The main project is in, "American National Standards Institute", (ANSI) - Letter size, 8-1/2" x 11" ~ 8.5" x 11.0" (Inches). This applies to the PDF, DOC, and DOCX files in the main folder. There is also a set of DOCs, (All 66 books), in, "International Organization for Standardization", (ISO) = "A4". However, due to a conversion error on my computer, the A4 size is only available in DOC. In MS Word, the "Page Setup" menu, in the "Paper" tab, "Paper Size" indicates the documents are A4, but once converted they show up as "Letter". (That is my software that is in error). The A4 folder will be included with this sale, as were it to be purchased outside the U.S., someone with more skills than me might be able to save them in the desired file type, as well as other computers, Newer PCs or Macs might be able to manipulate the files better. ------------------- Printing configuration: All files, ("Page Margins" in "Page Setup") ~ Margin set-ups are in the following configuration: DOC files are 0.7 inches (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) Gutter = 0, Gutter position = Left. This is to fit, (Accommodate), any type of printer. (Inkjet, Laser, and Commercial). DOCX files are * 0.79 inches (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) Gutter = 0, Gutter position = Left. * Margin Disclaimer: I chose the 0.7 because of 30+ years experience as a computer tech and the use of dozens of different types of printers. I had to change it to 0.7, twenty years ago, because Microsoft's margins were excessively wide, which used up a lot of paper. (Very expensive and a waste of paper) Although the 0.7 configuration for the DOC files have proven over time to fit any type of printer, it is not known why Microsoft's Word conversion to DOCX chose to change the parameters of the new files, when I save them to DOCX. Warning: If needed, alterations can be made to the files margins to accommodate your use of the project; however, I must inform you, changing the parameters will change the appearance of the Bible format and its contents. Just print what you need for studies or use it on your computer or online. Yes, I will literally create another Bible reformatted in the font of your choice just for buying this Bible. That is what part of the, "Why $100,000", was for.
