Description: BK PT3 Series 2 preamp. Unit has been fully disassembled, cleaned, disinfected, all electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with upgraded Nichicon high temp long life Nichicon UKA audio grade capacitors, see last two pictures for before and after. Also a diode and 2 NPN transistors that were reading slightly out of spec that were replaced as well. The volume knob was replaced as the original would skip around. The improvement in sound after the restoration was quite surprising, the transparency is now as it should be. This is a great opportunity to own a high end all analog preamp for a fraction of the cost that is practically brand new again and should last another 20+ years without issue.
