Bisque porcelain dolls and figurines are a well know application and were first introduced in the early 19th century and quickly became popular for the detailed, realistic features and lifelike expressions. Maker unknown, no visible marks that we were able to find. While we could not authenticate it, notes from the donor (see photos) indicate that the maker is Sevres. The notes are from March 1973, indicating that a repair had been made by a restoration artist at the American Swedish Institute located here in Minneapolis. SKU: 07-CS-577
