BIRD Larks, Lovely Poem, Beautiful Antique Chromolith Print

Description: This is a beautifil antique print is over 100 years old. It depicts several larks on a lovely spring morning. The poem reads: There's a whispering breeze in the tall tree-tops, There's a lark in the field on the hill,There's a cuckoo-call in the distant copse,There's the sun on the east window sill. And the wind whispers wake little maiden,And the birds sing wake from your restTis time evey good little birdie,was leaving its warm little nest. The print is is on thick paper with delicate tones and hues. It is a chromolith from a high quality children's book published circa 1890. There is a poem/drawing on the back, but it does not show through the thick paper. PLEASE NOTE: There are heavy stains/smudges in the margin areas of this print (priced accordingly). The page is approx. 7x9 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 5x7 inches. The colors are much nicer and brighter than the scan. This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item from that era. It would look wonderful framed in a home, office or child's room.
