BIG Anasazi Indian Pottery Indoor Fountain Native American Style Water Feature

Description: Large indoor (outdoor possible in warm climates) fountain in the form of two pieces of Native American pottery. Two large Anasazi style pots form the fountain. Made by Ethan Deuel of fiberglass in November 1989. They are shockingly realistic looking. I’ve owned and held some very old Native American pottery and these have really captured the look and texture incredibly well. The fountain is roughly 20”x20” at its most extreme points. The estate I purchased it from had it on the floor on a small stand in the entry way of the home. It could technically go on a table or counter but it’s pretty big. I’ve not actually tested the functionality of the pump but I’m inclined to believe it should work for the buyer. Worst case a new pump could be subbed in easily but I bet it works. There was a 1988 catalog included with the piece that has an ad for a small version of this fountain for $600. I cannot imagine this was the small version and hence I’d imagine the cost of the large version was quite a bit higher. It’s hand signed by the artist/designer in marker on the back side. It seems most of the items available in this niche catalog were handmade, small run items. I would be shocked if more than a handful of these are still around. It’s a very, very cool piece of you collect Native American pottery, celebrate Native American culture, or if you have a southwest themed home. Condition is excellent with no visible damage anywhere.
