Description: THIS LISTING IS FOR a Big Vintage Thatcher Glass Jar with a galvanized Handle and a Ball Zinc Lid TMC or MTC (large letter T, vaguely resembling an anchor with horizontal upper stroke, with smaller, angular M and C nestled underneath to the left and right, arranged in a somewhat triangular formation, as shown, this mark used 1944- c.1983)……………………. Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company. The bottom has an S13 on it, along with some other markings. This jar measures 9 inches tall to the top of the lid. It is 4-1/2 inches wide across the bottom. It weighs 1 pound 10 ounces. THE JAR HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. I ADDED AN EXTRA PHOTO TO SHOW THE RIM UP CLOSE. THIS JAR IS SLIGHTLY DUSTY. THE BALL LID IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION. IT HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. THE HANDLE IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER WITH SOME RUST ON IT, AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PHOTOS. PLEASE VIEW EACH OF MY 11 ENLARGED PHOTOS WHICH ARE A BIG PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
