Description: AEROSOL SPRAY CANACTIVATOR / ACCELERATOR for CA Glue10oz NET WEIGHT This works like a can of hair spray - fine mist! Many people prefer the aerosol spray can because of two particular advantages: (a) It has a really fine spray, and it covers large areas easily. (b) The contents will never evaporate from the can (compared to regular hand sprays which will slowly evaporate from the pump-spray bottle). This regular accelerator (also called "Kicker" or Activator) is Acetone-based and is NOT Foam-Safe. (It can attack foam, expanded polystyrene, and styrofoam, so its not for use on painted or finished surfaces.) It will cause CA glue to cure very quickly. A light spray works best - the surface doesn't need to be flooded. If the spray is applied too heavily it may generate heat or cause the glue to "pop" or "crust" or leave a white film. A great technique is to spray on surfaces before the glue is applied, but it may be used after the glue is applied to "set" the glue instantly.
