Description: Bergheim Beer Can.from around 1978....but....the can has a pull tab top that dates from the 1960's. It is an early pull tab like the old Piel's cans. They did a good job of putting this top on the can....looks great. Wish I knew the whole story behind how this can came about. My guess is somebody used real canning equiptment at a brewery to do this. The can dates from around 1978, and should have had a regular pull tab top.....but....this top dates from the late 1960's....it has the bell shaped tab opening and instructions on the top. I wish I knew the whole story behind this can. Not exactly a true beer can issue....but....nice chance to add an unpulled early issue pull tab to your collection. Pull tab. Rolled steel.
