You will see them after unscrewing the drive and turning it over. Your old belt will either be on the pulleys and too stretched and loose to work, or it may have fallen off the pulleys already. The third case is that the belt may have melted (if the unit was exposed to heat while stored), and if that's the case, you'll need to carefully clean it up using q-tips and alcohol, including the pulleys. Tip: to handle the belt while installing, use long tweezers or paper clips with the ends bent. I would not suggest using pliers which may damage the belt.
