Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Bellamy Brothers titled "Blue Ribbons b/w You Ain't Just Whistlin' Dixie", originally released in 1979 by Curb Records in association with Warner Brothers Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original sleeve is graded as Excellent because of wrinkles along the sleeves's top opening and its sides. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped a logo made up of two rings representing a disc, completed by an old fashioned circumference guage representing the "A" for Artisan, followed by "JG" and the matrix numbers JW-1/JW-1, indicating that the record was mastered at Artisan Sound Recorders of Hollywood, California, by John Golden beforethe first stampers were used to make this record at Capitol Records Company's pressing plant located in Jacksonville, Illinois. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of some superficial sleeve marks, but without any major surface scratches, scuffs or smudges. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of occasional super low levels or surface noise. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially an Artisan first pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
