Description: The Beckman Company (Cleveland, Ohio) 'Northern Ohio Woolware' Vintage 1920s Carriage Blanket, 100% wool. Heavy wool blanket with silk label; the label is very worn, but in the photos I have included an example of a label from another blanket. Manufactured by Northern Ohio Wool. No holes, rips, or stains. The only minor obvious wear is to some of the fringes, of which a few here and there are worn or missing. Overall the condition is EXCELLENT, and this blanket has been well cared for and stored in a cedar chest for the past 50 years or more; it has been in my family for 4 generations, and was originally purchased by my great grandmother in 1928. Very heavy; weighs 6lbs 7oz. The size is 74 inches by 56 inches.
