Description: This small Maasai snuff container from Kenya or Tanzania is exquisite. Fitting firmly in the palm of your hand, this intimately-sized hollow container, used to store snuff, has a single protruding feature at its base, Wrapped around the lower part of the container are two strands of small brightly coloured blue and red beads, with two sets of pairs of larger coloured beads located at each side. Two long strands of blue and red beads create a handle for the snuff container, allowing it to have been hung around the owner's neck.
