Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 14K YG YELLOW GOLD RAINBOW BLUE SAPPHIRE RBGI BUTTON EARRINGS These are a pair of very attractive vintage rainbow sapphire earrings made by RBGI and are very high-quality pieces of jewelry. The earrings are in a button style and are made of 14K yellow gold and set with square (princess cut) sapphires of various colors. The large sapphire on the earrings is dark blue in color. The other smaller sapphires are three various shades of red, then one each of yellow, purple, blue and green. By my count, there are as total of eight (8) sapphires in the earrings for a total of sixteen (16) sapphires in all for the pair. The sapphires all appear to be of good quality and all sparkle very nicely in the light. I will mention that when I first listed these earrings, I also listed the matching pendant separately. The earrings in my photos are the actual ones you will receive. Please be sure to read the “AGE AND CONDITION” and “APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS” paragraphs below. The earrings are marked on the backings with hallmarks that read “14K” and the letters “RBGI”, which is the maker’s mark. I find no identifying marks on the earrings themselves. Please Note: These earrings are made for pierced ears only. I want to be clear that I am not an expert on jewelry. I have purchased many pieces of high-quality fine jewelry like these earrings over the years for my personal use and am in the process of selling off some of the pieces that I don’t often wear anymore. I did not have an appraisal done on these earrings. As mentioned above I am not a jeweler or gemologist but I am an honest person and will give my best honest estimate on the size of the stones. Using a loupe and a ruler graduated in millimeters, I did my best to accurately measure the stones. The large blue sapphire is about 4 mm square. The remaining rainbow-colored sapphires are all about 1.5 mm square. I purchased these earrings new in 2005 from a reputable jeweler and as is the case with all of my fine jewelry the earrings have been well cared for in my smoke and pet free home. These are very attractive earrings! I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. The earrings are in excellent to mint original condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There are no missing stones, no breaks, dents, dings, obvious scratches that I can see. With the aid of a jeweler’s loupe, I see only some very light signs of age-related use. There may also be a tiny bit of tarnish to the metal - see the photos. They are beautiful and ready to wear. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. Approximate Dimensions Each earring measures about .375” (1 cm) across in each direction by about .125” (0.3 cm) in overall thickness. Approximate Weight About .25 ounce (5 grams) for the pair.
