I chose not to over clean and have left it up to the owner to determine how much character to leave (easier to take it off than put it back. :) ). But very clean beautiful set. I also have several entrance and passage sets in multiple Broken Leaf designs and other Broken Leaf pattern pieces including pocket door hardware and I’m happy to sell individual items. Just ask.
