Description: A rare and exceptionally clean 1964 mono ‘Version One’ pressing of Introducing the Beatles, on Vee Jay Records. The Mint disc is the scarce variant pressed with 45-sized labels, and thin print. ‘Version One’ copies of Introducing include the songs ‘Love Me Do’ and ‘P.S. I Love You’ on the disc and listed on the back of the album cover. They are far rarer than later ‘Version Two' pressings which omit those songs, replacing them with ‘Please Please Me’ and ‘Ask Me Why.’ The rainbow label, oval logo disc is in Mint condition, with a virtually flawless playing surface; the labels are both Mint without a single spindle mark. We have never seen a copy remotely this clean. The thick cardboard sleeve grades Near Mint-, with just a bit of wear to the front cover at the bottom center. A far lesser copy of this album sold on Ebay in late September 2024 for $4350. We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked. Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition. See our other listings for more from this fantastic collection.
