Description: This platter was purchased in Maine and I was told the tuberculosis hospital was also located in Maine. Of course after 6 or 8 months, I've forgotten the name of the hospital and my receipt only says tuberculosis hospital. So it's a mystery piece. Feel free to contact me if you have any information on it. The oval platter measures approx. 9 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. BCTH is at the top of the plate in dark green with matching green stripes. Mitchell Woodbury of Boston was the distributor, which dates the piece to before 1942. Very good condition with no chips or cracks and just a few scuffs or utensil marks. Thanks for looking!
