After receiving a BFA in film from UCLA, Chicago-born Barry Kite spent the next five years traveling and living overseas. Making his home in the San Francisco Bay Area, he wrote and performed his own style of surreal poetry in local coffee houses. Renewing his interest in collage, he combined photographic and hand-coloring techniques to create the foundation of his work. I purchased this print at an art show 24 years ago & had it professionally framed. Print has a double matte, & the artist has signed inner matte.
