Handsomely finished, wooden, Bavarian-style home weather station is listed in extremely clean, highly-detailed, complete, and tested condition. It features very good cosmetics, no visible surface or visible structural damage, and a uniform-dark-finish, free of UV fading or discoloration. The Barigo Barometer's brass trim ring shows a patina hue shift and minor pitting present at its topmost outside surface, consistent with age. This instrument has not been dismantled for cleaning or metal trim polishing. Item comes from a personal collection of vintage weather instruments and weather monitoring devices. [Note: The Barometer's indicator needle successfully responded to sealed-polybag, manually-induced pressure variations, was stabilized for 1 hour at room temperature, and then hand-calibrated to match locally reported barometric air pressure readings of 1012 millibars / 29.9" Hg, on 8/24/2023. The Barometic Pressure readings correctly trended downward to 1003 mb @ 24 hours, and then slightly rose to 1010 mb at 36 hours, in line with reported conditions. Room Temperature correctly tracked for 24 hours with the original liquid-filled glass temperature tube in place. Weather Station is shown less its temperature tube & two tube retainers visible.
