The tribe now patches together pieces of these textiles together to make the Banjara Bags. These vintage textiles are becoming scarce and the designs are rare to find. This Gypsy detailed style of embroidery is becoming a lost art among the women of the Banjara tribes so they must resort to finding the older pieces of the textile to make these tote bags. Many types of fabric are used to make these bags.
