Description: These Bang Olufsen Beomaster 5500 Stereo receiver and components turn on but do not work. I've owned them since 1999 when I bought my home from the previous owner who had purchased and installed them in a music/library room in the large modern home. In 2010 the components were accidentally knocked over (due to small kids "rough-housing" nearby) and landed on heavy carpet but with no visible external damage. However they no longer play although they still turn on. I'm not knowledgable about audio equipment so I cannot say why they no longer work. Since 2010 I've stored them in safe in a protected area in my home. I know these are expensive vintage music components and with the right knowledgeable owner I believe they can be restored at a significant value above the $495 I am asking for all four components - Beomaster, Beogram CD, Beocord (cassette player), Master Control 5500, plus estimated shipping of $150 depending on where you live. I'm including the official (original) Bang Olufsen Owner Manuals that came with the original purchase that detail important operating and technical data for each of the component. I will send you pictures of the owners manuals if you are interested in purchasing the system.
