Its minimalistic style, handmade, visible unidirectional carbon fiber patterns, and matte finish will express the naturality of your personality. The 700×25 tires we built the Insurgentes with make it agile and efficient, but don’t forget to keep them at 90-100 lbs at all times. The chainring is only 39T, so you can relax if you have to climb a steep hill. The riser handlebar is comfortable, and so is the sport saddle we built it with. The component selection is based on strong and light aluminium black anodized. Bamboo is also lighter making it ideal for bicycle construction. Neither bamboo or carbon fiber are subject to fatigue. Your bike can endure daily use and falls without losing its strength. Naturally bamboo generates 30% more oxygen than trees, this helps break down Co2 generated by cars. It takes up to 15 years for a regular pine tree to grow, it takes bamboo as little as 3 years to reach the same level, making it a very renewable source. Joints are hand made from unidirectional 50K Carbon Fiber. Carbon Fiber is an extremely strong, resistant and light material. As well as bamboo, CF is no subject to fatigue, so, in time, there will not be any acumulable damage on your bike. Using unidirectional fibers lets us design how the structure throughout the bike works. The species of bamboo that we use for the bikes is commonly known as "natural steel" of "solid bamboo".
