Mojo's role models here are obviously John Digweed and Sasha, which shouldn't come as a surprise, since both renowned DJs were early supporters of Mojo (even going as far as touring as part of Sasha's Fundacion 2005 tour). That said, the tunes on the double-disc Balance 009 are custom made for the dancefloor, in a techno dance kinda way. Not a whole heck of a lot of musical variation going on here, but when your job is to keep the dance party rolling along unperturbed, you have to keep things at an even keel.
