This is a Vintage piece of American history that has provided years of entertainment and is ready for many more. There are some issues with the box and cosmetics with the train itself, but it was put together and tested and works well. Be sure all tracks are connected well. SOLD AS IS. TESTED AND WORKS. SEE VIDEO. Vintage Preowned Condition - The box does have condition issue as it has been taped numerous times and is torn in several places. The styrofoam is all good. It comes in the original box. The Locomotive is missing the top to one stack. There are some wires underneath that appear to have been cut. I'm not a train expert and have no idea what they went to. The front light on the engine does work. The engine does work well. The mail car has gold bars on each end. The brake wheel is missing off of each end. All 16 pieces of steel alloy track are included. I was unable to test the smoke. The steam engine sound does work. The train set itself has been tested and works well with the exception of the smoke feature - which is unknown. Includes original paperwork and book. There are some extra parts included from another train set. There is styrofoam residue on some of the pieces and the remote. The battery cover is missing from the 9-volt compartment. SEE ALL PHOTOS! It requires a 9-volt battery. BATTERY NOT INCLUDED. This box alone weighs over 20 pounds and it will require shipment by FedEx or UPS Ground. It will be packed well inside another box which will increase the overall shipping weight. It will be insured as well.
