B Monogram Initial Letter Vintage ART DECO HICKOK Tie Bar Clip Chain Gold Black

Description: HICKOK USA vintage 1930's 1940's era art deco goldtone tie bar / clip with chain that has a reverse painted gold letter 'B'. As you can see there's part of the paint that is worn. Use as is & show off it's character from age. Or, would be a pretty easy repair - on the back the glass is exposed, so a little liquid gold or gold colored paint pen & a fine brush would fix that pretty well. It does show its age & use. The clip & spring is still tight & fully functional. So a cheap fix & this will be a snazzy addition to the favorite necktie's of anyone with a front or last name beginning with a B. It would make a cool costume stage prop or a night on the town at a jazz club! The bar is 2 1/2" long x 3/16", the chains are 2 1/4" long, the pendant is 7/8" edge to edge at the little wings & 3/4" in diameter. Customers - I am accustomed to packing fragile items, & have shipped plenty of pottery, glass & other fragile items over the years. I often reuse shipping supplies & do so whenever possible. We have a smoke free home & listed items are kept in a dry, temperature controlled room dedicated to storage. I Most of my items are vintage (20 years old or more), Antique (100 years old or more) used, nos (new old stock), sourced at thrift stores, yard sales, clearance, storage cleanouts, estate sales & buyouts - so expect some wear or signs of use on used or vintage items.
