Description: This is a very old Aynsley set with a low manufacturing number, 27, indicating early production. It's difficult to find such a low series number; while you might come across similar sets with numbers 28, 29, or 30, finding number 27 is quite rare. Additionally, this early set does not have any rims, unlike some later models that feature gold rims around the cup and saucer. Please refer to the photos for details. The saucer’s inner rim shows some uneven burgundy painting, which is not a defect but rather how it was originally produced by Aynsley. The bottom of the cup has tiny dots that are also not considered damaged. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing on the set. It is in beautiful antique condition!Thank you!
