That foundational work is out of print but the need for a concise source of avian surgical anatomy has not changed. Our objective in this edition has been to recapture the musculoskeletal anatomy of the original work and to expand the scope to include comprehensive coverage for the clinical management of common fractures of the long bones of birds, primarily raptors.
