It is my understanding that he only collected original masks and was knowledgeable about them. The tag left on this mask shows that the person that sold it to him was asking $400. The mask is about 10" x 6" from most outer part to most outer part. The mask has paint wear and some parts of the wood missing. I have seen perfect condition masks over the years and am very skeptical that a original authentic mask could be in what some collectors call mint condition.
