Aurora TJet Chevy Camaro Blue Slot Car #1388

Description: Here up for sale is a used Aurora Thunderjet Chevy Camaro painted blue and originally molded in red. Aurora part no. 1388. Some wear and chips show in the blue paint, exposing the red plastic underneath in spots. All four wheel wells have been enlarged. Windows posts are not cracked, and left window post has an outward bend somewhat. Front window has been reglued, and rear window is broken off and missing. Bumpers show some wear. The inside of the body shows some sand marks on the screw posts. Screw posts are not cracked. Comes on a running solid rivet TJet chassis with a green wire/ light green lamination armature with decent rpms and resurfaced pickup shoes. Rear wheels are AJ's press-on type with silicone rear tires that show some wobble. Nice one for a runner. Screw posts are not cracked. Comes on a running solid rivet TJet chassis with a red/green/gold lamination armature that has good rpms. Would benefit from adding some press-on silicone rear tires to improve traction. Could make a nice blue Camaro runner.
