Description: Antique Kaolin Ware Thomas Dimmock "Chinese" Pattern 10 1/2" Plate The plate is slightly scalloped with a flower border. The center features flowers, a tree, pagoda, an individual with a parasol and what look like a pier with a cross. The backstamp on the flow blue indicates it was made by Thomas Dimmock & Co. Kaolin Ware is the trade name for the product and "Chinese" is the pattern. It was manufactured in Stroke-on-Trent, England between 1838-1859. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Light utensil marks. California Residents add 7.25% tax on all purchases.
