Description: Antique Model Flint Clear Decanter & Original Stopper Peerless (OMN) 1896 EAPG UV Glow This is an Antique Model Flint Clear Decanter with its Original Ground Stopper. This is in the Peerless (OMN) Pattern, which was introduced in 1896. We did place this under a 365-wavelength black light and it does have a strong Green Manganese Glow. This is attributed to some EAPG produced prior to 1915, when Manganese was used as a clarifying agent. Some of the pictures show this green glow. (This will not glow under a 395-wave length black light. It is not Uranium Glass.) The Decanter is in Excellent Condition. (Straw marks, mold sears and bubbles are part of the EAPG manufacturing process and are not considered flaws.) It measures about 9.25” tall and 4.5” wide.
