Description: Atq Imperial Glass Pitcher 474 La Rochelle (OMN) Cosmos Manganese Glow 8.5” 1910 EAPG This is an Imperial Glass Co. Pitcher. The pattern is 474 La Rochelle. It is also known as Cosmos, Four Seventy Four, and Hobstar and Flower. This pattern is Circa 1910. Making this a stunning true antique. To help test its age, we place it under a 365 wavelength black light and it does have the Manganese Green Glow. Manganese was used in some EAPG made prior to 1915 as a clarifying agent. Some of the pictures show this. (This is not Uranium Glass. It will not glow under a 395-wavelength black light.) The pitcher measures approximately 8.5” tall. It is in Excellent Condition.
