Description: I didn't see anything visible to identify the maker of this, so I removed the movement, to clean it. It was not running, so I cleaned it with watch cleaner, and found it was marked L. Brocot on top of the Brocot Suspension, as shown in photo. Estate fresh from a high end auction, it didn't have a key or a pendulum. I purchased a French pendulum and had a key to wind it. I have washed the movement wit watch solution and the watch rinse, but I felt I didn't need to oil , because it took right off running. I have not tried to set the time, I looked and still am afraid to mess with tying. The bell does ding, both on the Hour and once on the half hour. I'm not crazy about shipping this, it would ship at around 13 pounds, but I Not wanting this destroyed. If any questions, I will try to answer any. Thanks for looking.
