They are from Manchester, CT, that includes the name of Democratic Party politician Daniel Wadsworth for Town Clerk and Treasurer, Registrar, and Agent for the Deposit Fund. Wadsworth was greatly respected and ran unopposed for over 40 years, then served in both branches of the Connecticut legislature. The ballot are printed on light paper and have numerous creases and several small edge tears, consistent with items that were mailed or folded and carried in pockets to the polls.
