Description: Atq Bristol Glass Vase Blue Hand-Painted Ruffled Edge Hand-Blown Rough Pontil 8.25” This is an Antique Bristol Glass Vase in Blue. It is Hand-Painted and it has a Ruffled Edge. It is Hand-Blow Art Glass with a Rough Pontil. The Glas appears opaque; however, when held to the light, it is somewhat translucent. The Vase does appear to be made with Manganese Glass. When placed under a black light (365 wavelength), it does have a Green Manganese Glow. This is attributed to some antique glass made prior to 1915. Some of my pictures show this glow. The Vase is in Great Antique Condition. There are two small dark marks on the back of the vase. I magnified these in the last picture. The Vase measures about 8.25” tall, 3” across the base and 3.5” wide at its widest point. Please see pictures for the details. Please magnify the pictures as they are part of the description.
