Description: Atq REVERSE PAINTING ON GLASS Buzza Motto House By The Side of The Road Foss HTF. Circa 1920s Approx 10.75” x 7.75” Very hard to find, especially in this condition. Buzza Company reverse painted on glass. The book this poem by Sam Walter Foss was published in 1897 (hence the copyright date) by Lothrop Lee & Shepard. The book is titled “Dreams in Homespun”. Shepard is spelled “Shephard” in the attribution info in bottom left corner. Original Wood frame. Painted gold & green. Backing of picture is torn in several spots. Frame is in good condition. One speck of green is missing at top. Original bottom of box has wear & some water stains. Beautiful antique condition. There is some dirt under the glass. No major scratches. Possibly some discoloration to the gold paint where it appears to have black swirls.
