Description: This is a nice 6-inch 4 jaw lathe chuck that I bought with an Atlas 10F metal lathe. It will fit 10 or 12 inch Atlas Lathes as well as the South Bend 9-inch lathe or others that use the 1 1/2 x 8 TPI mount. This auction is for the Chuck alone as I do not have an extra key to sell with this. I am only selling as I have three Chuck’s of this same size. I keep one with the jaws turned each way but this third Chuck just doesn’t get used so offering it for sale. The only markings I see on the Chuck is a 6 and a capital A. I believe this is a South Bend Chuck based on photos I’ve compared it to but it may be an Atlas or something else. Please look at the photos.
