Atlas / Kato HO Boston & Maine Minuteman ALCO RS-3 Loco #1509, LNIB with Kadees!

Description: Gorgeous, vintage HO scale Atlas / Kato Boston & Maine ALCO RS-3 Diesel Locomotive with dual brass flywheels, in Like New Condition in Original Box. "Minuteman" paint scheme. Road # 1509, Stock # 8016. Made in Japan by Kato for Atlas. Take a look at the photos (enlarged) and see what you think. (Pardon any camera flash reflection.) ALL factory-installed detail parts appear to be present as loco looks to have been very gently run! As you can see in photos, the body is in beautiful/"like new" condition. I track-tested the loco, and it ran well/smoothly like a typical Kato, for just a few feet in both directions on a straight track to confirm it runs. Headlight illuminates on both ends. Loco has 8 wheel drive, 8 wheel pick up and a heavy cast metal chassis. As can be seen in last 3 photos, the silver metal wheels indicate only "light to moderate" use and they are also extremely clean! I cleaned all the wheels myself, for optimal electrical pick-up. Loco has custom-installed Kadee knuckle couplers with metal coil springs. Both trucks and fuel tank bottom are stamped "Kato" and/or "Made In Japan". The box is only lightly shelf-worn, and it still remains in excellent/solid condition with window completely intact. The styrofoam insert is also in excellent shape. No paperwork is included.
