Front side of card signed by Y.Malenchenko and cancelled with small round stamp of Expedition-7Signature and Three board hand stamps on reverse side of photograph:-Main octagonal hand stamp "Board of ISS"-small round stamp of Expedition-7-large round dated April 28, 2003(day of Soyuz/ISS docking) stamp of Russian segment of the ISS. Andrei Sokolov worked closely to cosmonauts,in particular his friend Alexei Leonov to make sure his depictions of space were realistic.Sokolov and Leonov collaborated in several joint art projects.Some of Sokolov’s works carried into space aboard the 1971 Soyuz-11 mission and after transferred into Salyut-1 world’s first space station.He was one of the most profiling Soviet/Russian space artists.
