Please excuse any glare in the photos. The print depicts a merry group frolicking beneath a large tree. The print is mounted on a backing which is framed under glass in a gold-finished frame. The print area measures approximately 4 1/8 inches by 6 7/8 inches. The exterior frame measurements are about 7 1/2 inches by 10 1/8 inches. Unpacked, this item weighs 14.3 ounces. This would be a whimsical addition to a collection of art. Identification Verso, a piece of paper with the following information is affixed, "When they think you are not looking they skip along pretty lively." Hand written in pencil by a previous owner is the following, "1st edition 1906." This date describes the publication of original novel, but not this this exact example of this print. The subject of this print is one of the illustrations from J. M. Barrie's novel entitled Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens which was originally published in 1906. The original artwork was in watercolor, pen, and ink. This is a print. While examining under magnification, tiny dots that make up the print can be seen. The age of this item is not known, but it is vintage. Condition This item looks very good overall, as shown. The print looks very good, with no stains, rips, or holes. The frame has light wear.
