Description: This is an Etching of a Mallard Drake Decoy done by Arthur Nevin. The etching is of a decoy made in 1935 that Mr. Nevin studied from Modoc, South Carolina. It is numbered 34/150 and signed in pencil by the artist. It is on an art paper that is 14.25 x 22 inches. Mr. Nevin, once the etching ink was dry, then hand painted each decoy in that series so each of the edition of 150 would be slightly different. The Mallad Decoy is 17.5 inches from beak to tail. Mr Nevin had a long, and very successful, career as an artist. He passed away in 2020 at the age of 90. We have a number of his etchings that are unframed and much easier and safer to ship. Pricing is based upon comparable Nevin Etchings. His etchings of Mallard Drakes are a bit more common. Mallards are such a well known species of waterfowl, his mallard etchings tend to be very popular. They make a great addition to any man cave, cabin, lodge, or den. We will ship this etching flat, well protected, and quite reasonably within the U.S. (Under $12.00) We accept returns for any reason within 30 days but no one has ever returned an Arthur Nevin etching. (Note: We are currently listing a number of Mr. Nevin's etchings and invite you to combine a purchase for a savings on both the etchings and their shipping.)
