Description: Original lithograph by the Symbolist artist Charles-Philippe Blache (1860-1907). Works by this artist are quite rare, the only print my him to show up online is "Le Crépuscule", also a lithograph from 1894 that was published in album seven of L'Estampe originale and considered important enough to be included in the collections of the National Gallery of Art in DC, as well as, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY. This lithograph is signed and dated in the stone, it measures 7 3/8 x 6 1/8 inches, the sheet is 8 x 6 1/2 inches and it is printed in black ink on cream colored wove paper. Aside from typical age toning and old paper tape to the reverse top edge, it is excellent condition.
