Description: Duverdrey & Bloquel French Travel Alarm Clock in Purple Leather Case Working Here we have a Fabulous Art Deco French Travel Alarm Clock in a Purple Leather case. Made by Duverdrey & Bloquel from Saint Nicholas D'Aliermont in Normandy in the 1920's The clock has a square brass housing with rounded corners, possibly originally gold plated or rolled gold? It has the walking Lion logo and has "Made in France" at the bottom of the face so it was probably made for export. It has 3 small bun feet and a large squared ring on the top. The clock runs well and keeps good time. The Purple Leather Travel Case carries a label on the base from William Box Jewellers of Gloucester. In very good condition, some slight wear to the case, the catch on the travel case is broken, please see pictures.
